



Breakfast is served in our bright dining room overlooking the garden, where tables are set individually with linen napkins and modern crockery so guests can enjoy the morning at their own pace. If you’re travelling with friends, tables can easily be brought together so you can enjoy breakfast together. Large windows fill the room with natural light and look out across the garden, where you’ll often see birds visiting and the changing seasons throughout the year

We begin with fresh fruit, homemade compotes, creamy yoghurt, and our homemade granola, along with a choice of cereals. When in season, you may also enjoy fruit grown in our rear garden, served with homemade or locally produced jams and marmalades. Hot dishes are freshly prepared each morning and include a traditional breakfast with smoked bacon, local or homemade sausages, and eggs cooked the way you like them. Other favourites include *Eggs Benedict, vegetarian breakfasts, cheese, ham or mushroom omelettes, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, *homemade pancakes, porridge with honey, *Potato Rosti , * Smoked Haddock with poached egg, cinnamon toast, and *French toast.
To accompany breakfast, we serve fresh orange juice, cafetières of Brazilian coffee, and a variety of teas, followed by a selection of toast and pastries.
If you’d like to add something extra to your stay, we also offer traditional cream teas, full afternoon teas, and a selection of cold sharing boards, sandwiches and cheeseboards, perfect for a relaxed evening at the house. We also have some special weekends where supper can be pre-booked on the Friday night which are shown on the website
